Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is a cruise company. It was founded by knut Kloster and Ted Arison. Arison did not stay for long. He left to form his own new company. So, it was Knut Kolster who made the company what it is today. NCL was initially catering to the low cost market for cruises. Today, it caters to everyone with its large fleet of cruises including some of the most luxurious cruises in the world. NCL is based in miami, Florida. The company began its operation in 1966. Its earlier name was Norwegian caribbean Line. The unique Selling proposition of this cruise company is their entirely  different ideolofy which is of Freestyle cruising. Other cruise companies, usually there is a very formal attire within the cruises. There are proper timings for breakfast, lunch and dinner but on Norwegian cruises, there is no such concept. At a Norwegian Cruise the cruiser has full authority and liberty to dress as they like, eat when they want to and do what they desire. Norwegian Cruise lines now also own another company Norwegian cruise Lines America (NCL America). As NCL was one of the pioneers in the cruising industry so many of the innovation NCL has made with the passage of time have become industr ystandards.
