Nick Hotel in Orlando is an entire hotel built and designed for the under-four-foot set. If you have children who love Nickelodeon characters, this is the ultimate hotel.

The Nick Hotel in Orlando is an experience, an immersion in the bright-orange and slime-green world that is Nickelodeon. In a world that revolves around adults, kids enjoy this miniature world devoted to all things Sponge Bob and Dora.
It is very close to all the major theme parks, and there is a convenient shuttle service with frequent runs to and from Disney World, Sea World and Universal Orlando.

Nick Hotel Suite Rooms
One thing that has NOT changed from the former hotel is their style room. They are called KIDSUITES and they are the big reason you stay at the Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn. These are not standard single hotel rooms. They are suites with kitchens and separate bedrooms for you and the kids! The standard Kid suite is a two-bedroom themed suite. The master bedroom is amply sized with a dressing table, closet, and television. We had a king sized bed so it was fabulous. The kids’ room was Sponge bob themed and had bunk beds. And a little known secret of the rooms with bunk beds, the rooms with bunk beds have a hidden pull out/down Murphy-type bed. This little known fact sort of allows you to add an extra kid into the 2 bedroom kid suite.

The kids’ room also has a table and chairs of kids size which is very perfect and specially designed for the small kids, their own television for their entertainment, and a separate phone for them. The kids’ room does not have a closable door but rather a curtain. This ensures their false sense of privacy while you can listen in to them as they play together in their room. The master bedroom has a regular door. The bathroom is beautiful and big in size. The kitchenette is ample.

The rooms also have a living room area, complete with pull out couch, lounge chair, and kitchen and dining table & chairs. The living room also has a satellite television offering a lot of channels to entertain their guests.

The private adult room has a king-sized bed, TV, and vanity.  There are also three-bedroom suites with two master bedrooms, a kids' room, two bathrooms, a family room, and a full kitchen.  These rooms can accommodate up to nine people. The newly-designed Dora Suites are a higher-end option with two plasma TVs, marble bath, and a contemporary decor.

And for the parents they are offering a special package if you're looking for a night away from your kids, there's "Nick after Dark.”  Two days a week for ages 5-12, Nick after Dark is a supervised evening camp for the kids that include dinner, stories, crafts, VIP seats and backstage passes to a Nick Studio show.  And while the kids are entertained, the parents are free to sneak away for an evening alone.

The Restaurant
Here’s another big change from the former Holiday Inn Kid suites: previously breakfast was free for everyone staying onsite. Now, the Nick Hotel has a kids eat free program but it is only for kids aged 5 and under and there are restrictions. The buffet consisted of hamburgers and hotdogs, salad of different varities and sandwich meats, Mac-n-cheese, and French fries.

Additionally, there is a food court next door to the restaurant, as well as a bar area. Both areas have ample seating amid the lobby-like area.
