This American based cruise line company is situated in Miami Florida. It’s a very successful and popular brand name: Royal Caribbean International. This thriving company has twenty one ships amongst which nineteen are still operating whilst two are under construction. It also performs the operation of handling other cruises such as the Azamara Cruises. This company was jointly incepted in the year 1968 by Anders Wilhelmsen, Skaugen and Gotaas Larsen. Its first ship was introduced in the year 1970, named “Song of Norway”. Eventually another ship was added and it was named “Nordic Prince”. With the passage of time, the year 1972 saw the addition of yet another ship “Sun Viking.”

This company has been very flourishing by the day owing to its diverse and sophisticated ships. With the profits that the company, that were made over the passage of time, they enhanced the capacity limit of their first ship “Song of Norway”. Their strategy proved successful and the company yet again increased the length and capacity of another one of their ships in the year 1980. This time it was the “Nordic Prince”. It was introduced in the year 1982 and was named as the “Song of America”. Its launch steered the company into a new era that ushered great financial and business achievements in the coming years. This was how Royal Caribbean International reached its status and became what it is today.
