In addition to the summer discount airfare, there is also a whole new list of fares and rates pertaining to the alaskan airways.

Don’t worry for you can still have your pet with you on the flight for a 25 % increase in the former rate. You are also allowed to carry the first extra luggage for a minimal fee of USD 20. The second one comes at another 25 only.  Even bags overweight in the range of 50-70 pounds are not an issue anymore. The alaskan air will also continue the minimal fare for accompanying minors as well as the unaccompanied ones.

If you are an esteemed MVP member of the Gold mileage plan, you are allowed to get a 3rd extra baggage at negligible fare too. The new increased fares are not applicable on you, but you should keep this in mind that at any time, these fares might become effective for you as well.

However this will not be done that after initial booking in the first class, the seats be exchanged for economy and the luggage remaining in the first class.
